Experience
I've been working in the Writing Center of Saint Joseph's University since January of 2008 as a professional writing tutor, serving the student population of both undergraduate and graduate students. I also have been an adjunct English instructor at the Community College of Philadelphia and Delaware County Community College for the past two years. I can work with people at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to final editing. I'm more than happy to also help writers, at any level, hone their skills further. As a teacher, my focus is primarily on academic writing, but I also do creative writing in my spare time. I've had fiction and poetry published in literary magazines, and nonfiction in a number of magazines and local newspapers. I can discuss any element of craft and the steps to take after finishing a manuscript.

Hobbies
I'm a voracious reader, as you might expect of a writer and student of literature. I love Frisbee, archery, and fencing. I've been lucky enough to do a smattering of travel thus far, and I hope to do more in the future.
